There are three games newly added to Jast USA, all from game developer ebi-hime: Unluckily in Love and All Idleness and Ephemera, two Boys Love visual novels, and With Eyes of Ice, an otome title.
Unluckily in Love and All Idleness and Ephemera both feature the same two characters, Yuel and Tavi, in different universes and different stories, falling in love two different ways.
Unluckily in Love is a slice of life romance with several 18+ scenes throughout the story. Yuel is already in a bad place in his life when his father suddenly dies. Unable to cope on his own, he turns to his much more put-together older cousin, Tavi, for help.
Tavi's bright cheerfulness is a counterpoint to Yuel's awkward shyness, and Tavi takes it upon himself to cheer Yuel up. Yuel, however, has little experience with kindness, and his feelings for Tavi take a turn for the romantic. Will anything happen between them? (Let's pretend the screenshot above doesn't kind of answer that question!)
In the more fantasy-based All Idleness and Ephemera, Yuel is a lonely, unhappy young man with a tragic past. Now, as he reaches his eighteenth birthday, his desperation for connection and comfort sees him draw closer to his older cousin Tavi, and finds much more than he bargained for. This game is heavy on the adult content, with about 70% of it comprised of 18+ scenes.
With Eyes of Ice is a dramatic romance with a linear narrative, meaning there are no branches or choices between the various attractive boys our heroine, Gréta Egilsdóttir, meets throughout her journey. Among all those bonds, there's one love she's destined to be with in the end. This game has some quite sad and dark content, but really, what great otome game doesn't?
