Slow Damage tattoo

Danshou's Slow Damage tattoo was done by Gracie Lee and features the game's protagonist Towa's gorgeous face.

Slow Damage tattoo

Val's incredible Slow Damage tattoo shows off two items integral to the game's plot: the pocket watch and the toy bunny. It was done by nephtis.tattoo.

Slow Damage tattoo

This beautiful tattoo of Rei and Towa was done by Chuu and belongs to Tigridia.

Slow Damage tattoo

This great euphoria pocket watch was done by Mina of Amai Ink Studio and belongs to Selkie.

Slow Damage tattoo

ShizunThirst on twitter has a beautiful Slow Damage tattoo of Towa sprinkling petals over Ikuina's body as they tear each other apart. It was done at Pastel Panda Tattoos.

Slow Damage tattoo

My Slow Damage tattoo was done by Brooklyn Bee at Fable Tattoo. It's Ikuina's blue rose, meaning 'dreams come true', because editing a NITRO CHiRAL game was something I couldn't even dream of doing someday.

DRAMAtical Murder tattoo

This bright, beautiful DRAMAtical Murder tattoo of Aoba being reached for by the love interests is by Ren Fox.

DRAMAtical Murder tattoo

Onizume's wonderful Koujaku from DRAMAtical Murder was done by Mina of Amai Ink Studio.

DRAMAtical Murder tattoo

Dami's DRAMAtical Murder tattoo is an adorable Usagimodoki, Noiz's Allmate. It was done by Lilly Sue Tattoo.

DRAMAtical Murder tattoo

This deeply amazing DRAMAtical Murder tattoo of the Clear/Aoba bad end was done by Chuu and belongs to Tigridia.

DRAMAtical Murder tattoo

My DRAMAtical Murder tattoo was done by Bunshin Horitoshi using traditional non-electric Japanese methods, because I wanted something associated with how Koujaku's tattoos are done in-game. I picked a lotus because it's an alternate reading of the kanji in Ren's name, 蓮.

sweet pool tattoo

My sweet pool tattoo was done at Westside Tattoo. It's of the myrmecoleon, a fictional creature used as a metaphor in the game, with artwork from the Hortus Sanitatis of Jacob Meydenbach, 1491.

sweet pool tattoo

BLVDBVI on twitter has a gorgeous, unique sweet pool tattoo on his ear, of the reason/instinct choice system from the game. It was designed by him and done at South West Tattoo Studio by Toby.

Lamento - BEYOND THE VOID - tattoo

My Lamento - BEYOND THE VOID - tattoo is of Firi, the troublemaking lizard-boy who shows up periodically to taunt Konoe. The tattoo was done by Nana Nakagawa, who looked at what I wanted and said 'how do you know this game?!', so I guess we were revealed to each other as fujoshi in that moment.

Lamento - BEYOND THE VOID - tattoo

Agi's Lamento - BEYOND THE VOID - tattoo is beautiful in its stark simplicity: Leaks' mask. It was done at Mooncusser Tattoo.

Togainu no Chi - Lost Blood - tattoo

My Togainu no Chi - Lost Blood - tattoo will probably have more added to it someday, likely Rin's stilettos. I was the one who suggested 'Lost Blood' as an English subtitle when we were tossing around names and I think it's pretty good.

Other amazing BL visual novel tattoos that can be found online include this Clear Jellyfish tattoo, this Morphine tattoo, this Ren collar and Morphine, this NSFW Aoba, this angelic Aoba, this Aoba and Noiz, this Aoba, Noiz's Rhyme mask, this sweet Aoba and Ren, and this Aoba and Koujaku

See if any of these artists are in your area! It's always time for a new BL visual novel tattoo. I'm also going to do a future post about anime and manga tattoos more generally, so please submit those to this post!
